Skipjack Suri Alpacas, LLC. is located on a 5 acre farm that was originally established in 1880. Surrounded by nothing but beautiful farm land our alpacas enjoy the best of the Maryland's Eastern Shore living - endelss open fields, abundant wildlife, a tranquille setting and a fiendly people all around.
Our alpaca are very friendly and interact constantly with our two cats, two dogs and of course our 2 and half year old son.
Andy purchased the old farmhouse in 2006. Though it looked like animals previously occupied the farm, no fencing was in existence and none of the old sheds were suitable for an alpaca barn. Andy started the fencing immediately and a 30 by 30 foot pole barn was constructed as well. Centrally located, all of our pastures have direct access to the barn.
